Following the BBC’s high-profile Wild Isles series with David Attenborough, the charities WWF, RSPB and National Trust have worked with Bristol-based Silverback Films to launch four films inspired by the series, as part of the Save Our Wild Isles campaign.
The Save Our Wild Isles Business Films focus on the need to change our finance system, food and agricultural production, marine industries and business in general, to address the environmental crises and threats to humanity that we face.
Triodos Bank UK is proud to host a special afternoon screening of two of the films, Banking on a Wilder Tomorrow and Hungry for Change,at Bristol’s Watershed cinema at 3pm on Tuesday 23 May. We’d be delighted if you’re able to attend.
The screening will be followed by a unique conversation between the Silverback producers of the two films Dan Huertas and Nick Gates, WWF and two of the interviewees featured in the films Emma Howard Boyd, Chair of the Green Finance Institute and Bevis Watts, CEO of Triodos Bank UK. We hope the discussion will reinforce how interconnected nature and business really are, and – importantly – how we all can be part of the solution.
Networking and a drinks reception will follow after the screening.
