Staying in England
Loveland Farm
Loveland Farm is a family run smallholding and campsite in Bideford, Devon, where sustainability comes first. Located just one mile from Devon’s beautiful coastline which is famed for surf and beautiful sandy beaches, Loveland Farm Pods are a fabulous place to get back to nature in a style blanketed by the stars above.

The family aim to be as green as possible. The campsite’s energy is sourced from their recycled woodchip 110kw biomass boiler and 5kw solar panels. They even have award winning compost loos!

Mazzard Farm
These award winning self-catering holiday cottages are just south of Ottery St Mary in Devon, and five miles from the Jurassic Coast. Old farm buildings have been converted into six sustainable and luxurious cottages. The 17-acre site includes beautiful woodlands, fields, orchards, a childrens play-area and cobbled courtyard.

Mazzard Farm focus on reducing the impact they have on the environment and their surrounding countryside. From the biomass boiler to Solar PV panels, or the sustainably converted cottages to the locally sourced food and homemade soaps – they’ve thought of everything.

St Cuthbert’s House
St Cuthberts House in Northumberland is a green award winning bed & breakfast, and is truly embedded in the community.
The six-bedroom former church building is positioned perfectly near Northumberland’s expansive, pristine beaches at the coastal village of Seahouses. The untouched natural surroundings have inspired St Cuthbert’s – with open horizons and crystal clear star-gazing nights, the environment has clearly made an impact on owners Jeff and Jill Sutheran when developing St Cuthbert’s House.

Wheatland Farm
Wheatland Farm is a multi-award winning low impact eco-tourism business near Winkleigh in Devon. Owners Ian and Maggie Watson say they have lots of fun making sure their eco-credentials are on show, as well as being part of the construction.

Green Business Gold Award holders, they manage their land sustainably, promote local produce, educate people about wildlife and farming, help people access wildlife, and follow environmental good practice.

The Coillabus

Troed-y-Rhiw is a 23-acre farm situated in Ceredigion, South Wales. The farm was established in 2008 and is owned and run by Nathan Richards and Alicia Miller.
